These thermo-insulating lighting elements consist of a top plate with a long-life colourfast film, and a bottom tray with a film that reduces permeability. Both plates are made from polyester reinforced with glass fibres. The elements are to be connected to sandwich trapezoidal profiles.

The Flowlight® PPC element is an insulating, translucent panel, consisting of a profiled top plate of UV protected polyester with underneath, glued airtight, a flat and multi-walled polycarbonate bottom plate.
Profile filling strips and blocks are required for sealing the trapezoidal sheets. This prevents draughts and thermal bridges. The material is polyethylene foam with a closed cell structure. This makes it resistant to rot and damage by rodents and birds. It also prevents the ingress of windblown rain, snow, dust, etc.
